Weekend

hahaha Soooooooooooooooooooo I finally cleaned up my place a little bit this weekend.  Per request, I am going to show you the before and after... lol

Before clean up (hurricane hit my living room, lol I have cleaned up lots clothes from the sofa already)

So... Yeah I have been pretty darn lazy lately.  I should start getting back to blog again.  So let see what I did this weekend.. hmmmmm

Let's start from Friday night.  Got home from work, I was going to head down to the mall and get a couple things from Nordstrom, since they are having their little anniversary sale.  I have found a couple things there the week earlier, but I didn't get them lol  (my motto is, if they sold the item out, that means that item is not meant to be with me. Or something like that :p)  lol but anyhow, so on Friday afternoon, I called them, and wanted to do an inventory check before I go.  (well, I also did the check online first lol, cause you can set it to pick up at store.)  Anyway, it took me like 4 calls to finally get a person to answer and check for me.  But both items were sold out at the mall that I was going to go.  So... I was not very happy.  lol  But anyway, so my uncle called me later the day, and asked me if I want to go walk around on Saturday.  I said why not?  So we went.

Same schedule as usual, went over to my uncle's place around 12:15.  My great aunt made me breakfast that day.  So we ate, then head to ... yap, Costco.  lol  ALWAYSsssssssssssssssss.   hahah  Berry smoothie again.  Just love it!!!  Got my watch at that trip finally.  haha  I have been looking at it for ummmm couple months now?  AND they still have not sold it out, that means it destiny to be with me.  lol (or just no one wants it............... (>.<'')  anyhow, I like that watch.  (you will see it on the pic below. hehe)  I was gonna get another pair of CK jeans there.  They are not normal blue jeans, they are bit different.  I had bought a pair of black ones from them before.  But now, they have them on sale again for only 10 bucks!!!  How can I not?  But I ended up didn't get it, cause the stupid thing is not updated or they have it wrong at the sign or w/e...  They wanted 15 bucks for them.  lol  So I gave up :p  That's all for our Costco trip of the day. lol

Then we head over to Bellevue mall after that.  Yap, usual places.  Macy's first.  Got one sleep wear t-shirt and a CK short sleeve shirt.  It's a WHITE one... hahaha My uncle got a sleep shirt from there as well.  That's about all we got from Macy's that day. lol SOoooooooooo not much stuff.  :p  Next stop, Nordstrom.  Since I have called to check on Friday, I was only going to get Acqua Di Gio from there.  BUT when I get there, I found the Light Blue there too!!!!!  That person lied to me??  lol  I donno... But since they have it there again, that means I have to get it too!! rite?!  lol  So ya, I walked out from there with two things.  Yap, I did not get the jacket NOR the shoes... hahah  So proud of myself  :D  LOL

I really blown a lot of money away this weekend.... lol  Part of it is for a little reward for myself.  Another is to thank the help from my family.  hehe  So on Sunday, took the kids and grandma and great aunt out to lunch.  We went to have Pho first.  While we were there, my uncle and aunt happened to came to the same place too lol  When I go pick my great aunt up, they were not up yet.  So we got done earlier and left before they are done.  I picked up their check as well.  lol Cause usually my uncle buys me alllllll the time.  Anyhow, we went shopping after that.  We went to Costco got some groceries, then went to Target got some undies and bike helmet for the kids.  That's about all the shopping we did today lol

Later the day, I took the whole family out to The Old Spaghetti factory for dinner.  It was fun.  That place is pretty nice.  That's about it....... lol

Weekend Recap

Whoa, Monday you are here again already.  Such sneaky...  But at least it was pretty nice out when I drive to work.  So it's not too bad.  lol

Let see what I did this last weekend.   hmmmmm  Looks like my weekend was spent shopping again... Gawd, I should probably stop buying stuff. 

Saturday
Woke up ummm around 9-ish.  Went up stair check on the kids around 11 and see what they want to eat.  lol And they wanted pizza, so I went to Costco and got a whole pizza for them.  And gawd, Costco is always ALWAYS so busy.  Where the heck are all these people from? lol  And there are like zillion Costco around here too.  (I went to like 3 different ones this weekend......................... LOL YES, THREE!!!!)  So picked my great aunt up on the way back from Costco.  I got her a new slot machine game.  haha  It's so crazy.  She's like learning how to use the computer for that sole purpose.  My aunt was like, "and you said you electronics are so hard to learn  blah blah, but not when it comes to gamble."  lol  This one is the second one I thiefed online.  The first one was not very good.  I didn't like it much.  But this second one is nice.  It's a lot closer to the ones we find in the restaurant.  lol  So she played it pretty much all day the time she was over at Saturday I think.  lol  

My uncle called me probably an hour after we got home.  He was like, "want to go shopping?  Let's go to the Bellevue mall."  I was like, "are you looking to get something?"  "donno.  Why stay home?  Let's go walk around."  "Okay" "I am heading over now."  LOL  So he picked me up.  We went get some pho first.  (cause we saw like a freaking huge traffic jam on I-5.  So we had to change the route... and just went to eat pho first lol)

We went to the Costco over at Issaquah first.  (second Costco of the weekend... LOL)  He likes to get coffee from Costco.  So pretty much that's all we got from there.  All the way over there. HAHAHA  Well, we did walked around the store for awhile.  He saw a Catier watch... Freaking $5,600 or something like that.  Appearently one of his friend is wanting one or something.  So he's checking it out for him.  Crazy peeps.  Anyhow, I got a berry smoothie from there.  Gawd, I just never tied of it lol  So we ended up didn't getting anything from there. 

Headed back to the Bellevue mall after there.  Two main stores we hit.  (The two stores he loves the most lol Macy and Nordstrom)  He's like pretty weird, he would drove all the way to a mall and would just like two check out a couple stores.  LOL  I would not be able to do that.  I would just like walk around it till maybe my legs are dead.  hahah  So anyway, Macy's first.  I got a hooded shirt from it.  Yeah... seems like I am the ones been finding clothes the last couple weeks...  haha  It's a pretty cool hooded shirt though.  Gotta wear it sometime :)  Then we went over to Nordstrom...  And gawd, that's where my money blew at this last weekend.  LOL  I got a Northface jacket...  I was like totally not planning on it.  But we HAD to find one there and it's on sale...  Donno if it's luck or not hahahah  I helped my uncle (this is the one I staying with) got one from Moosejaw last week.  It was a dark blue one.  For $81 bucks with the discount and all.  They are so weird.  They would like have any colors on sale BUT not the black one.  Normally I don't think it matters as much for the color.  But gawd, the black northface ones just never go on sale.  They are still like $165 at moosejaw.  Black and gray ones I think.  Like every single one out there in the US is wearing one...  The one that kinda wanted to get was the softshell ones.  I like it how you can wear them in the rain and all.  But nope, that's not the one I got.  haha 

So anyway, back to Nordstrom.  We were walking around and found the section that they had the northfaces at.  (yap, we were there last week... lol)  So we were looking through it.  And I was like, "Oh there's a size L here."  (He was looking to help a friend to get one.)  All they had last week was XL ones.  So I tried it on.  And gawd, it felt so big.  LOL  I guess they run a bit larger than the normal L or something.  He was like, "yeah, it's bit big on you.  That other dude's is a size smaller or something."  There was another guy there trying on another one next to us.  LOL  He tried it on and went to check it out on the mirror and such.  We were just like standing there, waiting and hoping he will put it back. hahhahaha It's pretty funny.  Cause the other guy was like talking to his gf about it.  Don't really know what they are talking about, but doesn't seem like he will be taking it.  There's hope... hahahaha  Anyway, so he put it back on to the rack.  My uncle went and got it.  Size M :O  What a rare find. LOL  Seriously though... They like never had smaller sizes on sale.  He had been checking on them like all the time, all they had are oversized ones.  He wasn't even able to find size L ones.  But today, two smaller sizes.  Pretty crazy luck.  lol Anyhow, the size M fitted just fine on me.  (crazy huh?  I has been getting clothes with size M lately.  Does that mean my diet is working out alright? hehehe  I had gone from getting clothes XL to M...)  Even though the jacket fitted well, but the price still a bit above what I would normally spend on.  haha It's still $110!!!!  So I was thinking about if I should get it or not.  My uncle was like, "are you crazy?  What are you still thinking about for? You should like totally get it. It's like super hard to find black ones for that much."  So yap, couple weeks of no casino, I can get it.  hahaha So we walked out there with two Northface jackets, and another $110 out of my pocket.  That was how my Saturday ended.  lol

So there came Sunday.  Another day of shopping.  Yap another day.  This time, destination, Seattle Premium Outlet mall.  Went over to my great aunts around 12.  Helped her installed the slot machine games hahaha on the laptop that she's using and my uncle's desktop.  We went to have lunch, then head up north after that.  Before we get to the outlet.  That's where the third Costco I hit this weekend.  LOL  Yap, they stopped for coffee again. hahaha  I didn't get berry smoothie this time, I got the latte smoothie. It was pretty alright.  I think I will stick with the berry next time though.  haha  Cause I don't want the coffee to stain my teeth :p)  So we walked around there.  More money spent there for me again... So on Saturday, we saw a pair of jeans over at the other Costco, I almost bought.  But I didn't get it cause my uncle didn't find the size he needed as well.  And I didn't feel like waiting in line for that one thing. lol  So I held off getting it on Saturday.  But on this one, he found his size, and dang, they have my size too... So what can I do?  I got a pair too.  lol  So I walked out there with a pair of jeans and a doze of addidas socks.  That I was going to get like 3 weeks ago.  But I accidently got the wrong size.  So I had to return those ones.  And they had them at this Costco as well.  So I picked them up also.  Third Costco trip ended.  haha

So onward to the outlet.  We went to Eddie first.  They found a vest for my great aunt.  $15 bucks.  It's pretty good for it.  So I picked up one for my grandma as well.  Then we saw a jacket it's pretty nice, so we picked it up for my aunt.  Then I got one more vest for my mom.  LOL  So I can use the 15% off $75 or more purchase.  (the one for my grandmas is too small though... So will have to go back and do some exchanges this coming weekend.  Hopefully I don't find ANYTHING on sale for myself :p lol)  So we looked around a couple more stores, that was it.  My uncle was like, time to go.  I was like, LOL "but we just got here...."  LOL  He drove for 40 minutes?  over here for like two stores.  hahahah So crazy.  But I did went to the ones I want to check out though haha 

Anyway, on the way back, we stopped at Northgate mall.  LOL  ANOTEHR mall.  Same old same old, Macy and Nordstrom we went. lol  Again... I walked out with something.... It's a casual shirt.  Soooooooooooooo yeahhhhhhhh  That's all it went down this weekend.  Not too much, rite?!!?

Weekend

: sigh :  It's Monday already.  lol  Weekend is never too long.

Let see what I did this weekend.  ummmm  Not too happy to see the scale earlier before bath... LOL  Need to work on it more... (one thing I hate about weekend so much!!)

Omg, I was so tired on Friday night for some reason.  I was sitting in front my computer and was falling asleep around 9?  And then got up around 5 lol  Then went back to sleep... till like 10.  So much sleep. hehe

So Saturday, let see.  ummm...  Finally made the brownies hahaha  It turned out pretty good.  I loved it!! (not too well on my diet though lol)  So I went with the Apple sauce instead of the oil as Diana suggested.  It turned out great.  I think it's the same as with oil... (probably... LOL I had made it like twice so far back in the school days, can't really recall that well...)  But it was pretty good with the apple sauce.  The brownie that I got was with some caramel on top.  I totally forgot to spread them though LOL  So it was only like 4 huge lines across haha

So Saturday continues.  Went to Old Spaghetti Factory, with uncle, aunt and great aunt.  First time there.  That place was pretty nice.  Kinda interesting seatings though.  There's like a cart? or whatever that called in the middle of the restaurant lol  Then we went over to Nordstrom Rack for a "walk"  lol I have been to that place like 3 times?  or something last week.  It's like crazy.  It was pretty fun.  They kept finding me expensive clothes to try on.  There was this Burberry coat.  It was pretty nice, but totally expensive. lol  They kept telling me that I should like get it LOL I should like take a pic of it next time or something.  (but that would be so weird.  hahaha cause I was trying it on outside, not in the fitting room... people would totally look at me weird if I were to take a pic there, i think...)

So here comes Sunday.  Went over to my uncle's house round noon.  They are taking me out to lunch again. haha so much food... We went to this Chinese restaurant and had some lunch.  Some as in a huge lunch... Then we went over to the Chinese grocery store.  After that, we went to Costco.  They wanted coffee from there.  I had a berry smoothie there too.  Love it.  I was looking at jewelries with my great aunt.  Her and my other aunt wants to get a diamond ring.  So we were just checking them out and the such for a while.  I probably buy my mom a necklace this year too.  Maybe for her birthday.  Will see.  hehe

So after Costco, we went over to the Bellevue mall.  LOL yes, more shopping!!! Well, not necessary shopping, just to look around and the such.  hahahah Gotta have some walk to lose those lunches.. you know.  lol  We went to check out some suits for me.  Cause I have a wedding to go to in Sep or so I think, in San Jose.  And I don't really like the old one I have... Bought that one in China during our last visit.  It felt very heavy and all.  So we went checked out some at Macy while we were there.  Actually found some pretty nice.  Of course, I didn't end up buying them yet.  lol  Let see how much weight I can lose before than!!!

Exciting week ahead

It's almost Monday.  It's almost here...

I am so excited about the new week, but also nervous about it.  I am going to start training Monday or a day after that.  It's for something that I have not done before.  I am bit nervous about it.  But my manager said he will help me with it, so I am a bit less worrying about it haha.  But still though, I think he sees and thinks a lot for me, so I don't want to disappoint him. Gotta work hard...  So new week, new challenge, I am ready for ya.  :)

Weekend recap

haha Was going to update it on Monday, but got little spaced over.... So let see if I can still remember what I did over the weekend...
So... I didn't end up making the brownies yet!  lol But I did get the unsweeten apple sauce with Diana's recommandation though.  I am going to be like not get fat!!!! hahahah  So I went pick my great aunt up on Saturday.  I take her to shop and then come over to our place to cook and hang out on Saturdays usually.  We went to the Asian store first, cause she wanted to make some "bao"?  Or w/e they called in English.  lol  It's like a little steam bread with meat inside.  We bought some grounded pork, shrimp and nappa for the fillings.  (we use the exact samething for wanton and dumplins.  hahah THEY are like SUPER good!!! hehe) I was trying to find the apple sauce over there as well, but as I thought, they don't carry it or something.  So we stopped by Safeway on the way home. 

Picked up quite a few things at Safeway as well.  haha  bought a little 8x8 pan for the brownies; the apple sauce (but omg, they didn't have like Motto unsweeten ones! So I got some O unsweeten ones lol That's like the only unsweeten ones they have.  So weird.)  So I was so ready to make the brownies and all.  But then when we were walking around the bakery, saw a cake.... hahah It looks like very good.  So we picked that up... hahah Brownie will be this weekend!!!!  Oh also picked some cream cheese up too . Probably not that healthy... but the strawberry ones are sooooo good!  They were like buy one get one free (@2.65 normal). I got one of the Chiave? Chieve? and onion.  I tried that one, it was pretty good too.  :)

haha anyhow, those little "bao" thingys turned out to be pretty hardcore.. LOL  It was my great aunt's first go at it.  The bread was bit too hard.  I had some of them, but only ate the bottom part and the inside LOL  It will be better next time. :)

That was Saturday.  Let see on Sunday.  hmmmm I went to Costco and the mall. I haven't been out to the mall for awhile now.  A friend is taking a new job over at a new building.  So I went and got him a card and some packaging stuff for the random junks that I picked up the weekend earlier.  lol  I got him a card from halmart? or what does that place call?  They like sell all the cards and little thingys.  I was having fun reading some of the cards.  They are so fun.  I think I spent like 30 minutes or something over there lol.  So much free time haha

I went to Sears first.  Cause I wanted to go see if there any shoes for the twins.  The pairs they have now are a bit tight.  So I went there and see if they have bigger ones and all.  I found them pairs of Ironman lights up ones.  But the size is kinda crappy.  They like don't have many sizes of them at all.  I was hoping they have a size bigger than the one I bought them, but that lady was like.  "oh no, that's all we have."  Suckie.. and omg, that chick is like so small... hahaha She's like at around my check only I think.... Made me felt HUGE. 

Sears had a coupond for 10 bucks off 50 and 20 bucks off 75 over the weekend.  So, the shoes were total at 40.  So I walked around the store to see if anything that I want to pick up as well.  Ended up, picking up two long sleve shirts, two sweaters and a bag for grooming stuffs? or w/e they are called.  Went back to the shoes department to pay, cause I left the shoes there with them.  Probably should have just carried them and paid elsewhere.  Gawd, remember that small chick?  She's like new or something.  Took her like forever to scan and put my infos in.  At the very begining, I already asked her if I can use the coupond on the shoes and stuff already.  She looked at it and was like, "yeah, that's fine."  So she scanned everything, got my infos in.  And she was like, $82.  Then I handed her the coupond. 

Her: Oh yeah.
Me: Yap.
Her: (she scanned the barcode, not showing up.  She turned and asked the other chick who's working there) It's not taking the coupond, what should I do?
Her2: Try this blablhalhb
Her: It's still not working
Her2: Are the items clearence?
Her: yes, they all are
Her2: Probably doesn't work on them
Me: ... .... But it says clearence and everything...
Her2: (looked over the coupond and was like) oh it does say that.  So weird.  You should do this balbhabh (to Her) But it will need to void the whole thing and redo everything
Her: Do you want to do that?
Me: (What kind of fking question is that????) Yeah... It's like a 20 bucks coupond...
Her: okay

Anyhow, so it took her another two tries or something.  She still couldn't get it to work.  So they called another dude to help.  And that dude couldn't get it to work neither.  So another chick stopped by.  So it was okay after a long while.  But yeah, do you want to take 20 bucks off? Are you sure you don't want to pay more????

After Sears, walked around the mall some mall.  Got a couple wind-up toys at this one place.  They are like a buck a piece.  Got 7 actually hahaha.  Out of all those.. The fking one that I didn't check it doesn't work.  Maybe I should take it back LOL 

That's about it for the weekend.  It was a bit more fun than the week earlier hahaha Such blank life :)

Monday already...

Weekend is always not long enough...

Sister came up here for the weekend.  Her computer was being a bit of pain last week.  One of her professors is such a great Microsoft costomer.  They have to get and use Office 2010 for the class.  (well, I guess that's what that class is anyway...) but still... haha  But anyhow, so I had a copy of it.  I gave her the key over the web and have her go download the installer off the web.  But somehow, her machine was not liking it and kept erroring out.  So first I thought it was the pirated version of 2007 was messing with it. lol  So I had her got uninstalled it, then try to re-install 2010.  But that wasn't the issue neither.  So she was stuck without any office to work on.  So she brought the computer up during the weekend and I helped her wiping it and re-installed windows and Office 2010.  (I am so nice... lol)

We went to have some Pho on Saturday with the twins, grandma and great aunt.  Then took the kids and grandma home then we went to buy stuffs for hotpoting.  lol  Bought so much food once again.... Beef, lamb, tofu, noodle, veggies, mushrooms, fishballs, shrimp...  Oh we also bought things to make potstickers for my sister to take back.  It was pretty fun though.  But of course we didn't end up finishing all the food.  So I had to do it again last night.  lol  Not complaining though.  I love hotpoting also.  But it just fat.... Gained like 2 lbs.... 1 week of no food ahead of me.  (I can do it!!)

Finally today, they are going to start fixing the water leaking/flooding issue in the living room.  Hopefully it won't take too long.  They are going to break the floor and install some pipes there and let the water run out to the yard or something.  So I think when I go home today, half of my living room floor is going to be destroyed...  (well maybe not half, but still a bit...) 

Oh yeah, one of another most exciting things that I did last week was that I finally ordered a new laptop.  lol  Maybe not very very exciting, since it cost me 800 bucks.  (Thanks to Diana!!  That she will sign it off for me, and that saved me like 80 bucks almost of tax hehe)  Just have to go down to Oregon to pick it up when it's ready.  Hopefully soon.  Right now, I think the estimate time is 2/16/11.  Hope it will be done sometime next month, cause I have to go back home sometime in Feb.  So it would be great that I can pick it up on the way or something.  It will save me a trip.  haha  Here's the config for the machine.   It's not too bad I think.  Lenovo is pretty nice also, they let me upgraded my RAM for free.  Previously, I ordered mine like the day before they have the free RAM upgrade available.  It was suppose to be 2-DIMM of 8500DDR3.  So I called them the next day, and see if I can still get the upgrade or if I have re-submit a new order.  (it's pretty crazy too, they like have no option for you to cancel your order online lol.)  So now I have 1-DIMM 10600DDR3!!!  Meaning I would only have to get one extra DIMM if I want to make it 8GB!!!! hehehe

Still haven't told my sister that I bought a new laptop yet though hahahaha  When she was up here in the weekend, we brought up the conversation about getting a new laptop again. Cause the plan has always been I get a new laptop and give the one I have now to her.  She was like, "have you looked into a new laptop yet?" I was like, "nah, I don't want to get a new one yet."  lol  And she goes like "..."  But I told her I will give her this one when I see her next time.  So yeah, hopefully my computer will be here before I see her.  Otherwise I will have to break the promise again lol.  (finger crossed!!)
